The New York Lotto 6-of-59

 Players select six lucky lotto numbers from 1 to 59 for each game.

Drawings are held twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday evening at 11:21p.m. (EST). Deadline for on-line orders through H.M.E. is 2:00p.m. (EST) Wednesday and Friday.
Six numbers and one bonus number are drawn.
Price of one game is $1.00. Lotto players using our service need to add $1.00 per game and draw.

You pick six numbers between 1 and 59. Players win for matching 3,4, 5, 5+BN or all six numbers (Jackpot). This creates overall odds of 1:46 in 7 prize categories.. The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 44 Million.

All prizes are pari-mutuel, that is they depend on the number of dollars wagered and the number of winners for each category. The minimum jackpot is estimated at $3 million. See prize structure for more details and odds. The jackpot is paid as a 26 year annuity or as cash prize (approximately 50% of the estimated jackpot, less taxes). Winning tickets are valid for 180 days.

50% of the cost of each ticket go into the prize pool (70% of the prize pool is allocated for the jackpot), 39% go towards education in New York.
