The new "SUPER LOTTO PLUS™" game allows players to choose 6 numbers out of a field of 49. The cost per wager remains at $1.

On the night of the drawing, 6 numbers are chosen from the field of 49. A Bonus Ball* is then drawn from the remaining 43 numbers. If a player matches the first six numbers drawn, they win the advertised top jackpot prize. The Bonus Ball* only affects winners who match 3, 4, or 5 of the six numbers drawn.

"One of the most exciting aspects of this game that our players have asked for is the accessibility of big money prizes at the lower-tier levels", said Acting Director Kennedy. "For example, if a players matches 5 numbers out of six plus the bonus ball, they win $10,000!"

Jackpots for the "SUPER LOTTO PLUS™" game begin at $4 million and will increase substantially, based on sales. There is going to be at least a $1 million boost in the jackpot after each drawing.

Players will still have the choice of the Cash option (a discounted, present cash value utilizing an interest rate of 7.5%), or 30-year annuity payments under the proposed rules of the new "SUPER LOTTO PLUS™" game. The Kicker game will remain unchanged.

"The odds of the new game will be approximately 1 in 13 million", said Acting Director Kennedy, "the overall odds of winning any of the prizes offered will be 1 in 451, as opposed to 1 in 856 under the old Super Lotto 6/47. We believe this will create more winners, and generate the kind of jackpots that will excite customers".
